We live in a toxic environment. Toxins are found in the foods we eat, in the water we drink, and in most cosmetics and household detergents. We also ingest foreign chemicals when taking medicinal or illicit drugs, or when using alcohol or tobacco.

Although the body is designed to be self-cleaning and to excrete these toxins, it cannot always handle the overload present in today’s environment. Chemicals that our body isn't able to eliminate accumulate in our fat cells, and cell membranes become internal toxins.

What happens when you're under stress?

Under stress, your body releases those accumulated toxic waste products from the fat that is stored in our cells, which are released into the bloodstream. When this happens, your intestinal lining can get damaged by those toxins - it literally corrodes the body from the inside out. As a result, your intestinal lining struggles to filter out the important nutrients it needs. The more damage is caused, the less it can act as a filter. In other words, the less effective it becomes in absorbing nutrients and as a result, even more toxins get released into the bloodstream and lymph systems.

It's crucial to eliminate those toxins as fast as possible while on the cleanse in order to avoid toxic overload to your system.

What Are The Symptoms Of Toxic Overload?

Q:  Will I be hungry during the cleanse?

A:  As this is not a fasting cleanse, there is no reason for you to feel hungry. If you do happen to feel hungry, there will be other reasons for this and one of them is the withdrawal from sugar that can trigger hunger feelings.There are many reasons why we feel 'hungry' and it is not always real hunger. This is a fascinating topic and we will cover this in the program and help you overcome your cravings so please don't worry that you will feel hungry.

Q:  I am pregnant - can I still do a cleanse?

A:  This cleanse is very gentle and designed to benefit most people, however, if you are pregnant, nursing, are on any kind of prescription drugs or have a medical condition, I strongly advise to consult your physician / GP  prior to  the start of the cleanse, just to be on the safe side.

Q:  Are there any additional costs for participating in the program?

A:  There are no additional costs for the program as such, however, you might have to invest in a few things that are required for the cleanse (only if you don't have them already). For example: the smoothies recipes require a blender or some other items that are part of the toxin elimination process (such as a skin brush) but you might have these items already and if not, you can purchase them if you want. I would highly recommend to invest in something like a good blender as the chances of you using it after the cleanse are high. 

Q:  Will I be able to do the cleanse while at work?

A:  Yes, of course. It will require a bit of preparation but it's 100% worth the effort as you will feel fabulous and have more energy as a result. There will be plenty of recipes shared with you and there will be guidance in regards to meals and what you can and can't consume. You won't be left on your own to figure things out. There will be plenty of support available.

Q:  Can I exercise during the cleanse?

A:  Yes, I do recommend to do some exercise during the cleanse but please pay attention to how you feel. If you don't feel strong enough to go for a run or attend an aerobic class, I'd recommend to go for something more gentle, like a long walk or a yoga class or any other gentle exercise that keeps you moving but doesn't make you dizzy.
