I believe that what makes me unique is not so much my education, my knowledge in the field of health and life coaching, my story and my life experience, but the fact that I sincerely CARE ABOUT YOU. I understand where you're coming from and what you're going through.  

You see, I WAS YOU, just a few years ago. A high achiever who always put others first. In the past, I never worried about my health - I was healthy - or so I thought. A typical people pleaser who found it hard to say NO even though I was overwhelmed with so much going on in my life.

After years of living a highly stressful life, building a prosperous career - because that's what we're taught to do and that's what all my friends were aiming for - the first cracks started to show.

My friends and family started noticing my mood swings. I often snapped at people when I felt extreme pressure and overwhelm but I didn’t know how to stop being so irritable. I tried even harder to be nice, forthcoming, work harder, hoping to get that promotion… but the harder I worked, the more exhausted I got and the less time I spent on self-care.

Soon I found myself worrying about my job and then worrying about things in my life in general which caused me huge anxiety, contributing to my already poor sleep. It was the start of my relationship with insomnia. But, instead of seeking help, I chose to ignore the facts and signs my body was showing, which only caused additional stress to my body and soon I started developing other several stress related illnesses that made my life a living hell.

At that time, I wasn’t eating right, I couldn’t sleep at night, I had no energy, and I couldn’t remember what life was like without brain fog and chronic neck and back pain.

No wonder my career never took off the way I was hoping. I was lacking productivity; I was irritable and emotional and the more hours I worked the more stressed I got. But, what was I supposed to do? I was too ashamed of talking to colleagues or even friends about my feelings, my overwhelm, and my anxiety with fear of being judged. And I wasn’t ready to give up my career I worked so hard for either.

Besides, I didn’t want to be perceived as weak.

I had to find another way out of misery, so I could get my life back, be happy, healthy and myself again, without unwanted medication that would make me feel dizzy and only mask the problems. Without wasting MORE time and money on expensive programmes or researching treatments that never seemed to work, or feeling guilty relying on late night caps to get me to sleep, knowing fine well I’ll still wake up frequently throughout the night.

But the biggest mistake I made was NOT prioritising self-care and NOT investing in myself the way I should have. Eventually I burned out and ended up in hospital.

While I recovered from burnout, I came across a nutrition course that got me intrigued about everything health related and that’s when my journey of self-discovery started. At that time, I did this to help myself recover from burnout and to overcome all my health challenges like gut issues, insomnia, back and neck pain and more.

But soon I developed a passion for everything related to well-being which led me to the path of becoming a health and life coach.

Having been on this journey for a while, I learned that treating symptoms like insomnia or brain fog individually doesn’t work. Adopting a holistic approach was KEY to full recovery. I realised that if I wanted to fix irregular sleeping patterns, OTHER related factors must be considered.

The only way to success is to put MIND, BODY and SPIRIT at the centre of everything I do. 

Trying so many things that don’t work, wasting so much time and still not feeling better is utterly frustrating. If you don’t crush those problems, they’ll crush you. Believe me, I know that because I was YOU a few years ago, remember?

I persevered with different approaches and buying lots of programmes & solutions but all that happened was me putting out one fire while creating another one as a result. After spending 10’s of thousands of Pounds and Dollars & 100s of hours of my time trying to fix each of my problems individually, I still did not get the desired results. The only thing I got out of it was a drained bank account and lots of frustration. This whole time I felt like a failure. I’m not surprised I burned out.

When I hit my plateau, I realised that I had to look at the body from a holistic perspective, not just trying to treat symptoms individually.

And that’s when I had the brilliant idea to create a programme that consists of the best parts of all those programmes, courses, workshops and books I studied & put them into a comprehensive strategy addressing the known and unknown health and life challenges I experienced and my clients experience too.

Things I love and that keep me sane

I consider myself a healthy, happy and fun loving person. I can say that I finally found my calling. I am grateful for what life has to offer me.

Being a Health and Life Coach and a nutritional therapist is what I want to do and breathe for years to come. Serving clients at the highest level satisfies me and gives me a purpose in life. 

But one of my greatest passions in life is travelling.

I spent a great amount of time living my dream while travelling around the world and discovering foreign places and cultures. 

Discovering new places, learning about foreign cultures, languages and traditions brings me great pleasure and joy and I can proudly say to have visited around 45 countries and hundreds of cities, towns and villages.

From culture to archaeology to architecture and sampling new foods is such a bliss and nothing excites me more than exploring these things. I usually end up buying cook books with traditional recipes from countries I visited.

That brings me to my other passion - cooking! I love everything concerning food and cooking my own meals, experimenting in the kitchen brings me a lot of joy. I can safely say that I'm a good cook (lol) as my friends keep coming back for more.

Animals are also playing a huge role in my life. I spend a lot of time playing with my dog and taking him for walks. He's with me all the time, thanks to my ability to work from home. 

When I don't work I read a lot. I love books, mainly health and well-being related ones but also auto-biographies, and of course, travel books.

Practicing yoga, meditation and daily gratitude keep me grounded and spending time outdoors keeps me sane.

Connecting with nature is super important to me as that't my way of recharging my batteries.
