Hi there, I'm

Gordana Ross

I’m a retreat leader and mentor for women who carry a lot of responsibility and are beginning to feel the cost of holding everything together.

For the past eight years, I’ve supported high-performing women - entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals - who are still functioning on the outside, but quietly stretched or depleted on the inside. Many come to me in the midst of burnout, emotional fatigue, or a growing sense that the way they’ve been leading no longer feels sustainable or true.

My work supports women to reconnect with themselves - not to step away from leadership, but to find a way of leading that doesn’t rely on constant self-pressure or self-override.

Through private mentoring and immersive retreats, I help women return to clarity, energy, and a deeper sense of alignment in how they live and lead.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: real change doesn’t come from pushing harder, but from leading with greater presence, honesty, and inner steadiness.

A calm, no-pressure conversation to explore what support might be right for you.

If you’re here to understand my background, training, and the path that shaped my work - you’re in the right place.

This work is grounded in lived experience - mine, and the women I’ve worked with over many years.

My Why

I haven’t just studied burnout - I’ve lived it.

A few years ago, I hit rock bottom. I had been pushing for too long - running on empty, ignoring the signs, and telling myself I could keep going. I looked capable and successful on the outside… but inside, I was exhausted, disconnected, and silently struggling.

Eventually, the stress caught up with me. My body began to shut down. I became physically unwell, emotionally fragile, and mentally overwhelmed. I didn’t recognise myself anymore. I didn’t know what to do - or where to begin.

I chose not to take medication because something deep inside told me healing was possible without it.

And so, I began. Slowly. Gently.

I started experimenting with tools and techniques that supported my nervous system, restored my energy, and reconnected me to myself. It wasn’t easy. But I did the work - and it changed everything.

That experience is the foundation of everything I do now. I know how lost, alone and broken burnout can feel - and I also know what’s possible when you stop pushing and start listening.

This is why I’m here: to walk beside others on their own healing journey - offering guidance, empathy, and grounded support, from someone who’s truly been there.

My Approach

My approach is grounded, relational, and deeply human. I don’t offer quick fixes or prescriptive solutions. Instead, I create space for women to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves so decisions are made from clarity rather than pressure.

My work blends science-backed methods like functional medicine, stress reduction and nutritional therapy with intuitive and spiritual practices such as embodiment, mindset, and deep nervous system work.

This is a space where you can stop holding it all together, breathe again, and remember who you really are.

This work is likely to be a good fit if you:

• Are feeling burnt out, disconnected, or quietly overwhelmed

• Are open to slowing down to create sustainable change

• Value depth, nervous-system awareness, and inner alignment

It may not be the right fit if you:

• Are looking for quick fixes or high-pressure accountability

• Want to be pushed rather than gently guided

• Prefer a purely tactical or performance-driven approach

• You’re looking for someone to fix you

• You want motivation or accountability without reflection

• You’re not ready to slow down enough to listen to yourself

If you’re unsure where you sit, that’s okay - clarity often begins with a conversation.

Bringing People Together Through Transformational Retreats

One of the most meaningful aspects of my work is leading and facilitating retreats.

These are intentional, in-person experiences where women step out of the noise and pace of everyday life and into a quieter, more spacious environment - one that allows them to reconnect with themselves and with others in a grounded, human way.

There is something powerful about being together in a real-world setting. Trust builds naturally. Conversations deepen. Perspective shifts. What’s been held internally for a long time can finally be named, explored, and gently recalibrated.

I host a range of retreats, including wellbeing-focused getaways, corporate wellness retreats, and private group experiences. Each is thoughtfully designed to balance reflection, movement, coaching, rest, and time in nature - without pressure to perform or “fix” anything.

Whether held in the countryside, by the sea, or in more secluded settings, these retreats offer women the opportunity to pause without falling apart, and to return to their lives with greater clarity, steadiness, and self-trust.

Alongside leading my own retreats, I also facilitate and consult on retreats for private groups and organisations, supporting the design and delivery of experiences that are both meaningful and well held.

Creating these spaces - where people can slow down, speak honestly, and reconnect with what matters - is one of the deepest privileges of my work.

Never miss an update on upcoming retreats and be one of the first to get the opportunity to sign up!

My work is supported by extensive training, professional experience, and years of working closely with women navigating burnout, transition, and leadership pressure.

A Bit More About Me

I live in the heart of Scotland, surrounded by the natural beauty that constantly inspires my work. You’ll find me wandering in the Highlands, journalling by candlelight, and hosting nourishing gatherings that spark deep connection and reflection.

A Note on the Future

In the coming years, I envision opening a Healing & Well-Being Centre - a peaceful, soul-aligned space welcoming both women and men who seek restoration, alignment and rest.

For now, it's a vision close to my heart, slowly taking shape - and I’m excited to see it come to life.

I believe transformation doesn’t come from trying harder - it comes from softening, listening, and returning to the wisdom already within.

That’s the space I hold for my clients.
